What do you guys think of this for a tattoo?
I've been thinking about this particular tattoo for over a year now, finally today decided to photoshop a few pics together and came up with this design....it's going on my left arm, wrapped around it and the feathers will be hangin' just like that around the tricep area...
*note* the dark area of my shoulder is from a sunburn and is peeling unevenly..not some kind of skin disease Okay had the feathers redrawned into "flight feather" as insisted by a friend...got the tat done

Why don't you think about it for another year?

I don't think it would make a great arm band.
If it's your heritage, it's pretty cool. To be honest, the first thing that came to my mind was the Florida State Seminoles. I've seen the feather thing done before, so unless it's part of your heritage I'd look for something else. |

1. that is a spear right? thats going to wrap around your arm? where is it going to end or start. bad positioning.
2. concept is okay i guess.. but you need to work on what FITS your arm. just because you think your idea works does not mean its going to look good on skin. If you really like that i would place it on my arm between the wrist and elbow going up or down.. considering its a spear.. i dont think it would look good wrapped around. 3. feathers need to look more realistic instead of a quick sketch. 4. is this going to be color? because color / black and gray - both have different effects on different types of skin color 5. if you have been thinking about this for a while and has strong meaning to you. fuck what i say or what everyone else says.. this is for you.. who cares if it looks good or not. its for personal satisfaction. |
