OK, here are my Breitlings....

The obviously amateur photo of the Seawolf II is mine but the Navitimer pic is borrowed from the website.

I appreciate all reputable watch makers myself. I own Rolexes and Rados amongst other brands (too many to list) and have entertained buying a Breitling in the past but never did. I find they are quite polarizing because of their bold styling. They're good watches still.

I like the Navitimer (even with its busy dial) but that's about it, then again I don't like the AP Royal oak either or many AP watches so I'm probably off message in the watch world.

Thanks for that. Nothing to say other than this is a superseded 42 mm model - mine is #1472 of 2000 (A17364B) in the steel blue face with matching blue bezel and rubber strap with a polished steel deployment. Just google 'superocean 42' and you will find pics of the different color combinations that were available. The steel blue appealed to me more than any of the others. I think you should be able to pick one up without too much trouble.

I've never really been a Breitling fan (most dials are too busy/blingy for me) but this watch is beautiful!!

I love my breitling. Its big enough to be noticed, but not overly obnoxious. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Thank you ... and I'm with you that most of them tend to be too much.

Be careful buying on eBay - lots of fakes out there.

Agreed. Watchuseek forums is a great resource to help avoiding fakes. I bought mine from a grey market dealer at a nice discount, and used the forums to help identify real/fake.

In many cases, the only way to determine a fake is to open the watch up. Many reps are indistinguishable from the exterior and use real serial numbers.
