I've got some human powered ones that she doesn't have issue with - ironic given the bumps and bruises the MTB gives.

The only motorcycle I have right now is a '71 Honda CB350 twin.....that's in a million pieces. What started with "let me adjust the points" turned into a "well while I'm in here" moment. The only bike she likes!

It's the answer to the question, "How many bikes should I own?"

N+1 is the number of bikes you have now, plus 1. Or...D-1, the number of bikes that would cause a divorce, minus 1.

You're in the latter category.

Lol, why do you think I have 4? The Ducati in the back is like a real housewife, on average only 4 years old thanks to constantly rebuilding it.

We lost a friend to cycling and he is on his 3rd collar bone. I keep saying he should try something safer, like motorcycle racing...

I have to think this is some computer geek's idea of progress. If you interviewed 100 car enthusiasts, 99 of them would say they prefer analog gauges, or at least analog-looking gauges. So who decided this was going to be the new norm?

I honestly think it's a cost-saving measure - disguised as progress into the future. From a supply chain perspective there's significant cost savings associated with standardizing components and minimizing sku count (i.e. removing buttons and wiring harnesses). It's a win-win for the manufacturer. Although 99 out of 100 enthusiasts would prefer analog gauges - 99 out of 100 drivers might prefer this "advanced technology" display. Us enthusiasts are a small minority unfortunately

I can't complain too much.... at least BMW still gives us 3 pedals
