I sold the previous home. The substantial equity helped build this one to our specifications. Our area has experienced tremendous growth and one of the hottest remaining markets for housing. I could have nearly doubled my purchase price last summer. The Home Theater was one of my dream additions and it is serving my family well. 135in screen and Dolby Atmos setup. The entire room is extra insulated too.

I think you meant to say that nothing you've yet to experience has compared to a theater experience.

I've been going to the movies pretty frequently the past year or so. I was anti-theater for a while but my wife wanted to start back it up again and it's been great.

Honestly, seeing Top Gun this past summer was a real highlight. It was just an incredible experience. There was a ton of energy and it brought me back to my childhood of seeing movies like Deep Impact and The Rock.

Even if I had a sick home theater, I would still prefer to see movies I want to see in the theater.

I don't know how ANYBODY would rather go to a movie theater rather than watching it at home on their own TV.
