135i BMW= POSSIBLE BAD IDEA??

My question is, with the 135i coming out eventually, don't you think BMW will start to draw individuals (especially 17 and 18 year olds) to buy their cars and just totally reck the BMW image of a classy car and a classy driver?? I mean to start off the car is pretty ugly and now we are going to definitely be drawing some of the Evo and Sti guys who are just going to be worrying about the loudest blowoff valve and the highest amount of boost only and slapping stickers on their cars. Not to sound Pompous but there are gonna be alot more, can we say j@ckAsses, driving around BMW's and trying to race everything and anything. I mean I have nothing against people who drive Evo's and Sti's, some of my friends have them and they are extremely successful and classy people. I just think in a way it is not going to lower the class necessarily but just the overall image of a BMW and the average driver. I just think the 135i is going to draw a crowd BMW may not necessarily want..........(let me clarify I have nothing against younger kids or Sti or Evo owners, but I am from NY and the average Evo or Sti owner is racing around CONSTANTLY and trying to race people at all times and just trying to either make the most noise possible, BOV and Turbo back exhaust and accelerate extremely fast and slow down quickly, like those types of moves while driving are just stupid and annoying) Also, I'm sure there is also 335i drivers already out there too that are just as immature.........(flame me if you want, this is more of a possible expectation and a question, than a statement)

suit on........(i just wanted to here peoples opinions, no arguements please)

The handful of 17 and 18 year olds, that could afford a 35K car, aren't what BMW is after obviously.

HEY!!!
I use to have an EVO! and I didn't drive like an ASS. I was also apart of the EVO community and no one there were asses either.
If anything, if those "people" you are talking about get a 135i, their personalities will change once they drive a Bimmer.

I personally don't think that many more 17/18 years will get the 135i since it is still over 30k. But, then again, I could be wrong because parents nowadays do some crazy and irresponsible things.....

Its funny that you basically called those guys 'ricers' yet those guys have zero tolerance on street racing unlike this forum. And lol at putting on the loudest bovs and stickers. Those guys know a lot more than you do. To the op what do you know about data logging, ecu tuning, knock, retardation , etc. Sorry to sound mad but some of the retard ricers I've seen are actually BMW owners.

FYI -- a base 135i is $35k; add just a few options and you've got a $40k+ car. Unless a 17 or 18-year-old is a trust fund baby and/or his/her mommy and daddy buy this Bimmer for them, it's still an expensive car that most younger drivers will not be able to afford on part-time Starbucks wages. After all, it's not a $22k Honda Civic you know; it's still a BMW.

As said by a 17-y-o Naples trust fund baby who's parents "GotAlottaCash." btw -- you may want to watch the racial slurs.

Hey I have stickers on my car

I think that if the 135 brings in more money for BMW and brings the market some kind of competition and because of that BMW has to compete more and build a better product I don't care if every BMW driver is a ricer. Since when did driving have to come along with a community of "classy people" or in other words...people who are full of themselves? I mean really guys I thought we were over classes ages ago Most people that are "below class" can't afford bimmers anyway and if they can, then good for them for moving up a class carwise.

I hope that the success of the 1 series inspires BMW to build some nice light racers.

Oh and I definitely agree with any statement regarding us learning a thing or two from the Evo/Sti community.

For someone talking about stereotypes, you fit one pretty well. I also wouldn't be surprised if all those "blacks" you speak of have plenty more "class" than you and quite enough "class" for Bentley and Rolls-Royce.
