I don't have children (that I know of) but if I was lucky enough to be a parent to a young child, I'd focus my efforts on growing them right and sacrifice a bit of myself to do that.

I think that is why so many are hating on you Sara. Also the description of your mother doesn't help the issue as it's a cycle you've fallen into, in which I believe your daughter will as well.

Listen I'm with her 24/7 even when my Mom comes over. The only time I'm not in the same room is when I'm in the bathroom. My daughter sleeps in the same bed as I do because I love having her next to me. Two weekends ago was the first time in a YEAR I wasnt with her. I faced timed my daughter 26 times during the course of those 48 hrs. I've been on two dates since then. That's it. I'm an amazing Mother.

Personal preference. I like waking up in the middle of the night and snuggling with her. Its much easier waking up and just looking over versus getting up and walking down the hallway to her room to check on her.
