181mph in my CLK63 Black Series. Unlike BMW, Mercedes speedos are accurate.

What makes MB's speedometer more accurate than BMW's?

BMW purposely makes them read high. The odometer is correct but the speedo usually reads a couple of percent higher than you're actually going.
The excuse I have been given is that they're trying get people to drive slower. That makes no sense to me because I just drive a little faster to compensate. Anyway, BMW won't adjust the speedo if asked.
As far as Mercedes is concerned I have a couple of acceleration meters and, unfortunately, a speeding ticket to confirm they're dead on.

If that's BMW's intent, it makes perfect sense because very few people would actually know that and would therefore drive slower.

Nice Black Series by the way... one of my favorite cars ever.

150-ish in '96 Cobra outside of Huntsville. Once.

As much as I'd enjoy that run in this car, don't see it happening!

I've had the 135i on the limiter at a GPS verified 155MPH.

The GTO I had before was delimited, and I had it up to about 165MPH.

I was in my '03 Mustang GT next to a friend in a '00 Camaro SS and another guy in an '03 Evo VIII. We were 3 wide doing about 160 down Rt 29 in Columbia at 1am. Didn't intend on going that fast, one of us just started accelerating and we all went. I had just done a gear swap and hadn't changed the computer yet, so my speedo was sitting on the little peg the last 150mph tick. That was when the car was making stock power lol. Only got up to 145 or so in my 570whp Cobra.

In a buddies modified Ruf 996tt I looked over at the speedo and it was in the high 180's low 190's area. Almost pooped my pants. Tons of fun though, that car was glued to the road.

134mph with the top down in the SLK '

Though I doubt I'll ever be stupid enough to do that on the road again.

Driven 165mph in my C6 Z06 (never mind where) and in an Indy Car at the Mario Andretti Racing School in Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Recently, 295kph in a Chrysler 300 SRT8 touring on the Autobahn in Germany - I wasn't driving

I also went 431kph in China in the Maglev That is 268mph!

155 in a STi, took forever
150 in a Evo, I would guess within 1 mile.

Both in the desert of lancaster.

As a driver, about 165. As a passenger, over 180 (at that point I wasn't really focusing on the speedo).
