Amazon Prime delayed shipping
Anyone else experiencing this? Looks like they are making changes to their delivery systems resulting in delays on everything I order. Since I'm paying for free 2 day shipping I should get a partial refund on my prime membership!

Amazons delivery is getting worse and worse. Take carrier laser ship for example, how are they still in business.
Still love my prime though and they won't take lasership off as a carrier. When my packages arrive late and complain, I always go on their chat and sometimes they will credit the entire order lol. |

Lol, they're not partially refunding your membership just for a shipping delay. But like the poster above me said, if you get in contact with their Support, they can sometimes give you credit for the inconvenience. I call, though, since with chat, a lot of things can get lost and I feel it's more effort to type what I need to say.

My recent orders shipped via FedEx and UPS have been on time, but a few USPS have been delayed.

+1 on this. Recently happened where I ordered squash air freshers and couple were dried up. Told me to keep the rest with full credit.

Interesting that you posted this. I too have experienced these delays recently. Amazon Prime has spoiled us that if things take 3 days versus 2, we get mad. But, it's the subscription we pay for yearly, and if they can't deliver on it, no pun intended, they need to revise the shipping time or reassess their yearly fee.

Mine had been always on time - at least more than 95% of times.
Few times when it was delayed, I didn't even really care because it still save my time going into the good ol B&M stores. We are in America and I thought America was known for lay back on technology and logistics. I've been to Korea and their internet & shipping speed blew me away - shipping carrier even call you to arrange the shipment, let alone things getting delivered in hours. |

I haven’t had issues with laser ship personally. The issues I’ve had is with their in house delivery service. They will mark shipments as delivered the day they were supposed to, but it wasn’t actually delivered. But then it would show up 1-2 days later. I understand things happen and 98% of the time, I get my orders when I am supposed to. But don’t lie to me saying it was delivered when it wasn’t.

Many things arrive in one day for me now. Nice benefit of being near a distribution center.
But I did recently order something that came from Germany and I didn't check that it was Prime, just free shipping. Made me wonder where it was until I double checked the order. Funny how we become so used to two day fulfillment. |

The moment Amazon got in the delivery business themselves it turned to a shithole. Coming from someone who has managed logistical operations for a fortune 100 company, Amazon's setup is a joke.

Just an FYI, I ended up buying my HydroFlask from REI after reading numerous complaints from people who ordered on theirs on Amazon. It seemed many of them were receiving poor quality caps/bottles that were possibly counterfeit.

Numerous delivery delays and a couple of lost shipments this year vs. very rare to see an issue prior to this year. Overall, still too convenient to not buy there and I have gotten some product refunds for shitty shipping (and allowed to keep the products).
FWIW, Walmart delivery is definitely no better. I can order 4 things there and they will arrive in 4 oversized boxes on 3 different days delivered by different carriers. They have a lot of streamlining work to do. But I still prefer to order from them once in a while than go into one of their stores.

They seem to have gotten worse actually sending out for shipping. I have no issue getting my items in a day or two AFTER they get around to shipping. That means something I order on Monday might not show up until the next Monday or worse.

Don't try the free shipping option if you don't have Prime if you're in a hurry. They basically sit on the order for 10 days or so. Once shipped it comes in a couple of days. You have to be punished for not paying for Prime.

Same thing... the 2 day items are now 3 day items and this is after my Amazon Prime went up in price. I personally think that Amazon is a shit company that sells junk that for the most part can be bought elsewhere for the same price... people got lazy AF tho and started ordering everything from there and Bezos ended up being the richest guy in the world. The moment something gets too big it becomes shitty and we are witnessing it now... If it wasnt for the grand tour, I would never have this crap and being that episodes can now be downloaded almost anywhere, i may cancel.
