How to remove the side blinkers on e90

how do you remove/swap the side blinkers on the e90 sedan? I've tried the search and doesn't seem like anyone has a guide for it

the problem is there is a gasket on them, the rubber between the blinker and paint and they tend to get stuck to the paint... so when u try to move them they dont move, and when they finally do, they break... I just epoxied the metal clip back in and they have been fine since.

I just wiggle the blinker up/down to break the tight seal a little before I push it back, that loosen the gasket which could have been caked onto the paint from the tight fit and dirt/bebris over the years. I took both of mine out to clean the rubber gasket and clean the gunk built up over the year. Yeah, but these light does not have much of a surface for you to grap onto. Hope that help.

I got mine off easily. Just give them a jiggle to loosen them up, push them back, and I get a butterknife under it once it sarts to come off then just slide them out.

it's all good just messing with ya, we were all noobs at some point. You just have to try it again or get a family member to try it and see if they have better luck then you at removing the blinker.
