Tried to sign up for BMW-ID - Car not recognised

Hi there.

I'm finally the proud owner of an BMW.
Its an fairly old one (2011) and because i'm trying to get involved as much as a can to get the best experience I tried to sign up for an BMW ID.

The first step was easy and flawless. I have signed up on the BMW site and so far so good.

Then I tried to add my car to my ID.
So I found my VIN and filled in the form to add an car.
When I submit the site responses with the message that my car isn't found and an error code : (CASA_MAPPING) : 2918819f

So I called BMW in the Netherlands (customer service) and asked what to do.
They responded : It is an computer glitch on BWM's side

So im just curious, anyone having the same issue's?
