In addition to new TP, Ferrari need to hire a driving coach along the lines of a Helmut or Niki. Bino was an egghead and couldn't relate to or advise LEC & SAI. At least Toto and Horner started out as drivers.

It's more than just being an egg head, anyone with a brain can relate to others in an appropriate way fitting the circumstances.

The Italian strategy and pitstop execution must improve with '1000 %.

The new Ferrari Team boss whoever it will be , have to re-start with a complete new efficiency training program for the whole pit-crew .
As for the Ferrari strategy : They need a new strategy brain like Hannah Schmitz .
Otherwise Charlie and Carlito will be Ferrari'd again in 2023 ..

BTW : Most think that Hannah is German , but actually she's British.
Her family name is Hannah 'McMillan , Schmitz is her husband's name .

For Bino the whole Ferrari situation wasn't easy , if he wanted to change the clown pitstop execution and pitstop/race strategy , then he had to fire at least half of the Ferrari pit-crew .
And that is what Bino didn't , and that's why he is gone now .
Currently , Ferrari is actually an Italian clown's circus , and I really wonder who can change that in 2023 ....
Ferrari needs a clean house in 2023 , but who will clean the mess up ?

The Bino story is really sad ,It was like a clown's circus with a smile and a tear !
Too bad for the big Italian . He was actually too good-hearted !

Indeed I gathered Hannah married a German chap and I believe they have a kid also, McMillan itself is a very old English surname.

As far as kind hearted Bino is concerned it's now obvious he wasn't quite the perfect all rounder chosen by whoever is in charge and was unaware of the 'too much relax' union in the Ferrari box. Changes ought to have been made to that culture that Bino, like Arrivabene, was reluctant to make.
I'm sure there are many that have put themselves forward for that position but being brawn with diplomacy is a rare commodity.

Ferrari seems to have lost it's way. I hope with a new Principal they manage to start making more clear and concise decisions and they bring a challenge back to F1.

F1 is far more exciting when there are multiple competitive teams vs one team that is dominate for a decade does not work for excitement.

Ferrari in the Ross Brawn / Michael Schumacher era was a true force his management and Michaels skill.

But since then they have struggled, having either a fast and fragile car / engine or various strategy or driver issues that have meant they haven't got there. Considering they have more money than ANY other team until the recent cost cap that's a shame for the team and the sport but the reality is, Renault, Red Bull and Mercedes have beaten them hands down in the hybrid era and even before then.

They have lurched from leader to leader even a football team struggles to achieve at times and that lack of stability hurts them, a new person at the top will still mean challenged for a year why they move to their model and way of doing things, going to be a tricky period for them.

Is it time for a tough woman be considered, after all there was one at Sauber for a while,Monisha Kaltenborn before she resigned when Sauber was taken over by Longbow who imposed unreasonable demands after BMW got cold feet and got out because they couldn't get their own way not dissimilar to what Porsche are trying to do now.

Christian Horner was already approached by Ferrari as Mattia Binotto's successor in the 2021 winter break !

Good Lord => https://gp33.nl/christian-horner-ben...attia-binotto/

Ferrari is beyond desperate !

The financial rewards could be tempting but shows how desperate they are in a huge mess that I don't think anyone could sort let alone an Englishman.
Ageing Brawn and Montezemolo are gone together with Todt and the new generation of managers are full of B/S and talk with no gumption.

Steiner is Italian (born in Merano - South Tirol). He has Italian and American citizenship.

Ferrari CEO John Elkann is equally American-Italian.

That's definitely a benefit.

So never say never.

Then again would he want the far greater pressure in the reds, he looks to have had a handful of it in Haas Ferrari and with the new drivers joining who have more experience in driving he may not want the hassle of dealing with seemingly everyone in Ferrari who 'have their own ways' of doing things.

The Hulk and Kmag at HAAS in 2023 . That sounds very promising !

Would love to see 'one of both , doesn't matter who from both, on MAX side @RedBull !

That would depend if any of them can handle the intricacies of the RB 19. Ricciardo is already in the pipeline should Checo fail to make the grade.
