Soft Porn Signatures

It seems like every time my wife walks by and sees me "surfing" on E90Post.com there is someone's signature with half-naked women squeezing oranges (sorry shimshimhada) or dancing around in an animated gif.

Although I appreciate them in the same way most warm-blooded men do

... can we possibly "limit" them to very small pics so they don't make me look like I'm surfing some porn site? I know... BMW is porn to most of us...

I'm always a bit reluctant to browse this site at work due to these images. I think if we put some limit about what can be put in a signature it would be very helpful to a lot of us.

i can see your point but you have to admit that using the term "soft porn" is really over-reacting a little. even though those guys are using, what i would call, "sexy" signatures, i think they're right on the, but are not crossing, the line of being inappropriate.

i view this site at work and am pretty comfortable with my boss walking in on me...

I suggest you go into options and turn off signatures, so everybody can have it their way.

I also think some of the animated gif women with bouncing boobs and the more "Explicite" pics be removed. Cars are fine :-)

It does get a bit much...

as much as i like bouncing boobs gif, it's not a good thing when viewing this forum at work. i do think we need some sort of a guideline here.

Agreed! It's very difficult to get my E90post fix at work due to some of the...pictures.

Not much better at home either, the last time, she came by and saw my looking at Vlad's pictures of his bare-back wife/GF...

She asked me if this is what I spend all my time looking at...

Get Firefox and the browser add-on 'Adblock' so you can just click off the signature (pics) you don't want to see.

I was just thinking the same thing today. I also didn't know about the signature option, which I just changed in my options. I would prefer that the pictures be less 'sexy' cause I do actaully like seeing peoples signatures.

I agree with 3s-a-charm and would add that photos of stock cars is also a waste of bandwidth and requires additional scrolling time. What do you say, Administrators? How 'bout a ruling limiiting pictures to relevant and/or out of the ordinary shots that edify readers about 'car stuff'?

Here's some advice, if you do any communicating with your wife, call her over and show her what the site is. Problem solved and you can leave us the hell out of your personal life while your at it. :mad:
