Milwaukee Tool Fans

I just had to share this because it's such a great deal.

Back story: I recently shopped for a replacement M18 battery because one of my 5 year old M18 batteries failed. While shopping, I ran across this deal that is still going on.

Full disclosure: I am not affiliated with Milwaukee or Home Depot in any way and get no commission or any other benefit from your purchase, just passing this along.

Here's the deal: Buy a two pack of the XC 8.0 Ah and 6.0 Ah Batteries for $279 and get a tool of your choice (XC5.0 battery, portable inflator, dual bay rapid charger, 6 1/2' circular saw, oscillating multi-tool, cordless blower, grinder, router, reciprocating saw, jig saw, impact driver, flood light, jobsite speaker, your choice) for free.

I chose the inflator and it is fantastic. Mind you, it's not a compressor, just an inflator (that retails for $179 alone) but it's a really impressive inflator. The way I look at it, I bought the inflator for $179 and got the two batteries for only another $100. It works great on my Z4 G29 and Subaru Outback tires and many other things. If you've ever shopped for Li-ion batteries, you know that's a great deal for these high capacity batteries.I've got a bunch of Milwaukee M18 tools so it was just a deal I couldn't pass up. Anyway, here's the link at Home Depot but you may find the deal at other stores as well. I haven't checked.

I have the Ryobi inflator and it's a game changer. My compressor just sits on the shelf now. So much easier to just grab the inflator and hit all the tires.

I'm not in the M18 ecosystem so I'll pass, but I've found deals for the M12 system and the B&D ones (which I am in) and I know the feeling. For some reason finding these tool/battery deals is a notch above finding deals for other things

Some people buy that deal (batteries plus a free tool) then return the tool for full value of the tool. I hate those people.

I inadvertently slipped into the M12 ecosystem years ago, and like it.

Milwaukee is designing/making/selling good products these days.

Nice! I found that refurbished Milwaukee tools are a great option for DIYers as they are better quality than Ryobi and other cheaper brands and reasonably priced, plus I can get accessories or an extra tool basically anywhere.

Huh? In what way are they able to return the free promotinal item and get refunded for it?

We have one of Milwaukee inflators to use at the track - these are pretty awesome, might be worth getting a spare. Can never have too many batteries.

The M18 inflator is good, more than twice as fast as the M12, wish the M18 came out first.

I stuck this on mine.

As a rule of thumb any Milwaukee deal that is about 50-60% of the total regular price is a good deal, else you are overpaying, but waiting for a deal on what you want may take a while.

I just wished they would of made M4/Usb tools not just lights. Just bought almost the whole Ryobi system of those cause been dying for the foam cutter to kaizen more packouts.

Same here, got the M12 because that's all that Milwaukee offered. No regrets with the M18 inflator though. It's very nice.

Thanks for the tip on the extension. I'll have to grab one soon.

Ehh.... Not so much.

Here's the exact same battery pairing for $169. Looks like Home Depot's $299 with "free" tool is really a $130 tool at that price. May still be cheaper to go the Home Depot route if you're looking for a tool that's >$130.

Plus $15+ for shipping (Home Depot is free shipping) equals $115 or less. The vast majority of tool options sell for more than that so, yeah, $115 for a $179 inflator that I wanted anyway, I’m good with that.
