Buy now or wait till Sept?
Hi All
Been offered a really good deal on a new M5 F90 (non comp) works out around £24K discount , couple of cheap goodies thrown in and a really good price for my MacanGTS as a part ex (circa £4K-£5K more than any other garage) The dealership have said they cannot do anything else and the offer i have is their total best and has to be a Q2 deal , so car before end of June Just wondered if I should go for it, or maybe see what happens in say August for Sept reg cars (69plate?) Thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance Adam

I got something similar, had to buy before the end of Mar. It was the best value car in the showroom, much better than the X5 I had planned to buy....Half a service pack thrown in sealed the deal! No regrets!

how are you finding it? what spec did you get?
im worried about terrible depreciation but i guess you get that with any M car, in fact...any car that isnt 'normal' not sure why im being such an old women about making the decision. Dont want to get 6-9months into ownership and be bored/regret the purchase you know

Spec is MBB with silverstone with a few extras, comfort, driving assistance etc. Running in service shortly, it’s seems like it’s taking forever to get to 1200 miles, 7 weeks for me. I love it, attracts plenty of attention, that could be good or bad. I don’t have a sports exhaust so it’s a little quieter than my previous RS3 but I like that and so do the neighbours. I’ve gone PCP so I don’t worry about depreciation, which will be staggering, just look at the F10. You have quite a performance car history, I still think it will take your breath away. Try to get into a demonstrator if you’re not sure.

Thanks, i've done the deal. they threw in the service pack and paint protection and gave me a bit more for my part ex, on top of 26% discount, so im happy!
should have the car no later than end of June. Similar spec to yours Bungle (same colour, interior etc)

Hi all, first message on here and wanted to ask your opinions. Im thinking about getting a 2019 F90 M5 Comp and have been to the dealer and think the deal is quite decent. But with all the leaks and spy pics of a new LCI M5 coming in 2020 not quite sure weather to get this current deal or wait for the 2020.
Here is the quote for the 2019 M5 Comp: Cash Price: £78,562 Deposit: £5000 47 Monthly Payments: £976 Any advice would be much appreciated as I'm not sure what to do! Also apologise if this is in the wrong section. |

At the start of Sept / end of Aug you could get a non comp for more like 47 x 860 (again allocating any deposit across the term) - maybe less if you haggled really hard.... Now the non comp has been dropped but £220 a month or £10300 over term seems a lot to me for what the Comp has to offer (of course assuming like for like on spec outside normal comp differences). Someone with a comp will no doubt be along shortly to tell you what you ought to be aiming for! |
