I accidentally bought this on Seiko Fifty Five Fathoms custom on ebay last week. It showed up last night and I tossed a random leather strap on it. I have a black sailcloth strap on order. I am loving it so far.

Big fan of that watch. Maybe I'll pick myself up a pre-wedding gift, would go great with my suit for the wedding come Sept.

Go for it! It's a stunner in person. It's one of the few skeletonized watch that is fully open and you can look at everything on both sides of the watch and in some portion completely see-through. Most people say that you'll get tired and bored of a skeleton design and it's hard to read, etc. - I don't find that at all after owning it for a year. If you're into mechanical designs, you'll love staring at it all the time, especially under a microscope

BTW - Congrats on your upcoming wedding! My wedding was also in Sept

I'm a mechanical engineer by trade, hence why I think I love the skeleton designs so much! Doubt I would get tired of looking at that.

Much appreciated man! Looking forward to it, fingers crossed on no Hurricanes!

I am huge G-Shock fan. I only have 3 G's right now, but I have left a few classics over the years. A 5600 was always on my wrist for 20 years flying for the Navy.
