comfort access
In order to get my car to unlock with comfort access I have to push my pocket up against the door. Its slightly easier to lock it, but not a whole lot. Also, with the key in my pocket sitting in the driver's seat the car always starts up, but then 1/5 times the "missing key" icon will pop up for a while. I tried replacing the key battery already. Does anyone else have these problems or does it seem like something is wrong?
Thanks

Does it always happen in a certain location (meaning outside your house, outside the building where you work)?

do you have a bunch of other stuff in your pocket with your key? some times if i have a set of real keys with my fob, it is dificult to unlock. as for the tint, it has been said that if you have metalic tint (which is cheeper) as opposed to ceramic (ex: formula one Pinnacle series) the comfort access will not work as well.

nope, nothing else in the pocket. And the tint wouldn't affect the car not thinking the key was present once the engine was started I wouldn't think.

Both keys the same? If so, test with all windows down. If the same, then call dealer. If different, blame tint.
My 07 was produced in June 07 and I picked it up Jan 08... mine still works fine. I have no tint... |

Try a different battery. I changed the battery in mine after 2 years and the stupid thing turned out to be defective out of the package. Worked fine for a week then it was 50/50 whether it would start the car.

+1 sounds like your battery is on its last legs, and it's a really cheap test.
