Agreed. Cowboys haven't gotten wet since 1996, Redskins shot themselves in the foot all season, Phila has the worst fans cuz miserable in Phila and the Giants, especially Eli, have been inconsistent the past 10 years. However, if the NYG make the playoffs and don't play at Seattle, I can see them going to the SB.

No hype. Dallas has 2 rookies that are both on track for both: League MVP and Rookie of The Year! Take your pick. Pretty damn special if you appreciate the game of football.

Would you have said that at the start of the season? Probably not. I am not taking anything away from those two. I like Dak. I just don't like how every season those four teams get so much hype. I chose the Giants to win the division and I fully expect them to be a SB contender as much as the Cowboys.

Every fan outside of your own division feels almost like I do, at least the people I'm friends with.

Dallas and the Giants especially have always seemed to get more press than deserved. ESPN and the other national media are dribbling in their drawers about the idea of one of those 2 teams in the SB. Rest of the country, not so much.....

Thing is, no one gave the cowboys any shot to win even 6 games, let alone be #1 in the NFC. I know I didnt see them winning more than 3-4 games.

What they are doing with a Rookie 4th Round QB and a Rookie HB is unheard of, so of course they will get the press. Only Rothlisberger won more games as a rookie and the steelers got a lot of press that year because of it. And he was expected to succeed in the NFL.

Everyone here knows my position on the cowboys- and will admit, I was one of the last to give them respect.

But this isn't a fluke or luck. They're simply a legitimate SB contender and have proven so.

I was skeptical the first 2 months of the season, as any non cowboy fan should have been. But 12-2 isn't luck, gotta give me the respect that they've earned.

As a Hawks fan- am I afraid of them? Of course not.

Would I be surprised if they beat Seattle in the post season? Absolutely not.

I don't believe there is any team anyone should be scared of.

I do believe the top three teams are the Cowboys, Giants, and Seahawks. I'm still thinking the Seahawks need to improve their run game come playoff time.

Not to mention- if Detroit wins and Seattle loses- they're in the second seed again.

It's going to be a WHOLE MONTH before the next game that counts for Dallas. That just seems like an awful amount of time of not necessarily playing for anything.

If Dallas were an injured team like Seattle- , it'd be a god send all that time off. But now do you risk your stars in meaningless games, or sit them for back ups and lose rhythm?

Dallas is all good, they are set for future now. Two elite rookies and that dominate O-line are all under age of 25. Operation build defense in off-season.

Heart break is Seahawks not running the ball to win the super bowl.

Dallas will be formidable for years to come. 14-2 good maybe not/ but as perineal SB contenders? Sure.
