True, but the guy holding the tusk is clearly not a whale of any type. Not even slightly overweight from what I can see. Just out and about in London carrying a 6 foot long tusk.

I've been a lot of places (not London) and have seen some strange shit. Hell I was a cop for over 30 years and never saw something like that. I haven't seen it all, clearly, and not much surprises me anymore but seriously this is a bit out there.

I wasn't mocking at all, I think it's outstanding. It's a dangerous thing for a civilian to pick up a weapon of opportunity and jump in and I applaud them for putting themselves in harms way. It looks like they were kicking his ass. I just am surprised to see a Narwhal Tusk readily available as a weapon frankly.

Well if you knew more about what happened that morning and where the incident started you'd understand why he ended up using that as a weapon.

So I applaud the Polish Chef who had the idea to grab a Narwhal Tusk that was on a nearby display. I'm not being critical or dismissive, all I saw in the initial reports and video here in Canada was a guy armed with a Narwhal Tusk. That struck me as odd, I think that seems fair. Perhaps if you look at it from my perspective you'd see it in a similar fashion. Given that Narwhal isn't exactly native to GB and a tusk isn't something you'd think of someone just having readily available. At least I've never seen anyone carrying one around.
