I would not go so far as atrocious...it was not LA Kings hockey when they win. They were playing their game but maybe a little too, "were going to show you how physical we are." I think they played a good game. Good enough..well no...that third period the Sharks turned into a sit back and try to defend. Not a good recipe against the Kings....got real lucky it did not get tied. I thought for sure the Kings were going to tie it. This was so typical of a Sharks-Kings game. If we lost I might try to fault why, but I think the game was close as hell other than the face-off category.

Dough-boy is an excellent D because he plays at least as much with his head as his body. He always seems to see the potential in the whole ice

In prior years we had a much more solid D-corps. Too many young new faces this year on the blue line in McNabb, McBain, and even Schenn trying to adapt. I really miss Green and Regehr.

D and M together was a great team since M was much more free to play up knowing D would be there to clean up. Splitting them and having M be the rock isn't the greatest option

Regehr was like a tank out there--yeah a few years ago the Kings defense was like a bunch of giants out there, putting the hammer down. And what happens, is if they are not a solid wall like before it changes Quick's game.

I spent yesterday going to wineries during the day so I was very very drunk by the time the Caps were on. So much so that I had to watch this this morning to make sure I didn't imagine the second goal we had against Mason.

You were drunk, and yes that really did happen.

I always had fun driving out on Rt 50 to visit wineries, it's one of the few things I miss about living in VA. there are some really nice ones out there.

I won't be surprised to see Neuvirth in goal for the flyers tonight, and not just because of that bad goal. I would rather see Mason there, I think he's a wounded animal in more ways than one.
