My valve cover arrived with a giant hole in it, and it wasn't from shipping.

Oh boy! We got a puppy the week of Thanksgiving; I feel your pain, but it does get better. Hang in there!

Took my dumbass fifteen minutes to figure out how to mate the upper and lower receiver on an AR with a binary trigger installed when I could have just read the clear instructions on the box.

Ouch.

Years ago, I mean many years ago, when they were around $50, I almost bought 10 of them. Good god I'm stupid.

I just finished a 90 minute Teams meeting on "Changes to vendor accounting processes for 2021".

And I had to pay close attention because I will have to filter this down to all our vendors next week. The most ominous of subjects will be our switch from 30 day to 120 day invoice payments. I imagine pitchforks and torches will be emerging shortly.

Was replacing engine mounts in my new to me DD e46 and the lifting of the engine cause the DREADED power steering hose to split faster than the legs of Jenna Jamison and puke the contents of the entire reservoir on me...

Got it fixed the next AM when the new hose arrived, only to get a CEL because I caused the OTHER dreaded intake elbow to have a gigantic hole. Guess you can say the rubber on this car needed replacing... Soon though, she shall be fully operational.

...USPS lost a package for a back-ordered item that I've been waiting for since November.

On a happy note, I'm hours away from winning a side bet placed in December that I wouldn't have the item in my hands by midnight this evening.....

This is the reason I converted my bbq to natural gas and ran a line to it from my gas meter.
NEVER run out of gas mid steak again!
