Or go to getbmwparts . Com and get the parts even cheaper. Just saying
does GetBMWParts.com apply to this promotion though?

What if you purchased from BMW dealer that sell parts on eBay? Are you qualify for the rebate?

I don't see the M235i on the list of approved accessories? Someone clarify? Does this mean I won't qualify for the 15% rebate of I buy a new M235i?

Wonder why the performance steering wheel for the M3/M4 isn't on there. Just the electronic one?

The M Front splitter, carbon fiber spoiler and carbon fiber mirror caps were already installed on my 340 when I bought it. Does this rebate apply in this circumstance, too? Or does it only apply if you walk into the dealership to have it installed by their service department?

Were the parts installed by the dealer or at port? You would be able to tell by looking at your window sticker. If the parts are listed under all factory options, then they were installed at port and do not qualify.

Rebates only apply to purchases from BMW Centers so if they were installed at dealer, you could try and get them to provide you with invoice(s) so you can submit rebate form.

If buying new, you do not need to have dealer install them. I would shop around by calling different dealers or by changing stores/locations at shopbmwusa. You will notice some dealers get very competitive with their pricing.

And to confirm, rebate is based on MSRP regardless of what you pay as long as you submit invoice from a BMW Center.

LC,
From your post, if I may ask, fine print (BMWUSA website) suggests an 'OFFICIAL' offer or promotion. ("Cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions"). Some commentators suggest BMW CCA discount does or does not preclude the rebate. Your thoughts, I graciously ask? BMW CCA Discounts do NOT appear to be 'official', they appear to be ARBITRARY, ranging from 10 - 20%.

Sorry, must have spilled (swilled?) some wine! Was just trying to clarify as to whether a dealer discount for BMWCCA members given at time of purchase nullified the BMW rebate. Dealer discounts (per my local parts department manager this AM) do not constitute an official offer or program, so, no, they are not mutually exclusive. When I had reviewed the posts under this thread, yours seemed to be most pertinent as to my question, I thought you would have an answer. Have a great New Years!

BMW M Performance parts rebates - is it of MSRP?

I was just going thru the MIR form, and this clause confused me.

Original BMW Center invoice and/or repair order. Rebate payout is based
on the MSRP of the parts purchase amount only.

Cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions

Does this mean that if I receive a discount of say 10% on the parts, I won't be eligible to receive the MIR? Any clues?

Thanks.

The amount they use to calculate is off the MSRP, which does not necessarily mean how much you paid for the part from the dealer. Other offers just means offers by BMW NA, not your specific parts department.

Thanks. I see, so even if the dealer discounts the part, I will still be eligible based off the MSRP.

Thanks again.

Yes but you might be better off using the vendors on here. I compared dealer prices to our vendors and it was significantly cheaper to use the vendors.

The vendors are typically dealers too.

Thanks guys, got my order in before the deadline and will be taking full advantage of the rebate. Anyone know if an online invoice will do or do you need the one mailed with parts?

I see. I didn't check the forums properly and I ordered the parts. I found that a dealer in NJ was offering the performance parts at a 25% discount.

I ordered the rear diffuser and the grilles, and I will be picking them up as the dealership is just 15-20 mins away from my home, and try to install them myself once the weather improves a bit.

Thanks for all the inputs folks.
