Need a Convertible top cleaner and protectant recommendation

I have the standard black color soft top on my 2022 G29 Z4 and would appreciate recommendations for any products people use for cleaning and protecting the top without affecting the material. The car is parked outdoors and is the recipient of our daily (very strong) "Florida sunlight" and our heavy rain. The rest of the car is protected by Xpel PPF and ceramic coating and the soft top is the last part that I need to protect.

So far I have found these products from Chemical Guys when searching online which they claim repels liquids, dirt, stains, and UV solar rays. Has anyone used them and if yes, do you recommend them?

https://www.chemicalguys.com/convert...ernal%20Search

What other products do you recommend for this purpose?

Also how often do you use your products?

I have always used 303 Aerospace Protectant for these types of applications.

+1 303 cleaner and protectant have been good for me.

As an FYI, here is my old Z3 convertible top treated with 303 - you can jump to the 50sec mark.

For most washes, I try not to wet / wash the top. I usually brush it off with a soft hair brush in long strokes from front to back. Once every 3 months or so, I'll wet it down and use the 303 cleaner on it. Same brush in same direction.... I don't ever scrub on it. Once it is clean and dry I spray the 303 protectant on. Works well for me.

My car is a 2011 w/ 127k miles and no issues with the top what so ever. It is garaged 90% of the year, but I daily drive it in most weather and put the top down pretty much every sunny day above 45F.

One suggestion is to always store the car with the top up to minimize creases and wrinkles.

I recently cleaned and coated my wife's 2015 M235i top with the CG combo. The cleaner seemed to work well. I'm not getting the water beading as well as CG's youtube video though. I've never used an alternate product, so I can't provide any comparison

303 Protectant once a year for a garaged car that only sees 3,000 miles a year and lives with the top up unless we are driving it.

I used RaggTopp when I owned an E46 convertible, it helped after the previous owners ignored maintaining the top.

Is it too late to apply 303 protectant to a 2 year old car that is parked outdoors in strong sunlight?

RaggTopp is the way to go.
Actually recommended by Haartz, the maker of convertible tops for all major European car manufacturers.

Thanks for the link. I had watched several youtube videos today and the RaggTopp products impressed me.

I have a 2022 M8 Vert, the top feels like cloth. 303 is good for leather, plastic and vinyl. What is the BMW vert top cloth material called?
