custom exhaust?

has anyone deleted the 2nd cats and res with straight pipes ?? any sound clips ? any engine codes?? i wanna do this ! and down the road get catless dps

I just did this yesterday. No cats, ar downpipes and magnaflow mufflers. It's not too loud but it does drone quite a bit inside the car when just cruising below 2700 rpms. I might add two resonators and an x pipe and see if that will get rid of the drone.

I deleted sec cats and res on a sedan.. i could get a vd with the iphone when i get home, upload to the tube, and let you hear it if you want... just let me know

If you mean with no muffler at all and straight pipes from catless dps it'll sound like shit for a daily driver.. I would atleast leave the xpipe and a pair of mufflers..

nahhh im gonna put a new muffler on just not this one.. maybe bmw performance... i just wanna see how it sounds without 2nd cats and res for now!

I just deleted my res. Just a little bit of drone. Not too loud either sounds pretty good to me. My buddy is bout to delete his res and secondary cats and I'll see how his sounds then determine if I'm gonna do mine. Im getting ar down pipes soon.

Or you can just cruise at around 2900-3000rpm and save yourself some $$, just saying.....

please tell me if it sounds good i might not delete the res then.. res is nothing but rasp pipes.. might just keep that and go and delete 2nd cats
