Dew point of 77F here. Ridiculously humid. I tried to work outside today but could only do 45 minutes or so. Temp of 89F but "feels like" 104F. Blah.

Monsoon-like weather here. Was raining and flooding up in Big Bear. No rain down here (so far). Just cloudy and sticky.

90F with dew point of 80F. Heat index of 106F. Glad I don't have to work outside in this sauna.

83F right now so feels pretty good. High today is forecasted at 94. Up to the 100s by the weekend then back to mid 90s. Not a bad summer so far.

PS - just wait til we get in to late August/September.

85F right now in Naples, Italy but the high was 95F. Been horrendously hot lately with not much if any rain in the last month, which makes it fun because fires galore on the 45 minute drive home. Car showed 103F after baking in the sun while at work...ugh! August sucks!

Had a nice band of storms that stretched from St. Louis, MO to Montreal, QC roll on by. Had the government alert nonsense go off on the phones.

Missed the worst of it in my city but had a black wall of clouds come over. It was mostly a non event, just waiting to hear in the news if any tornadoes touched down anywhere.

With (98.6°F) or without (87.8°F) the humidex, it's too hot for my taste.

I think 98F is too hot. We're supposed to be at 99 on Sunday.

The Willamette valley, Oregon (Portland and the valley 100 miles south) traditionally has some of the nicest weather anywhere in July, August and September. Sunny and 80-85F. I sometimes joke that the Hawaiians should be jealous of our summer weather. Unfortunately, last year and this, the heat has come on -- a 'heat dome' last year gave us 114F and this year we've on track to have a record number of 90- and 100-degree days. Maybe there is something to this global warming thing, after all...

Since our summers are usually not very hot, many dwellings do not have AC -- 100+ temps are murder!

That would suck.

Last weekend Sat/Sun, ONLY got to 90 and we had a little bit of rain, but near or above 100 all week, supposed to be 103 today and between 97-103 the next 10 days.

8am and it's already 83 here.

We typically watch the national weather and feel bad for folks who have hurricanes, tornados and other storms while we just cruise along with our gray, rainy weather and our beautiful summers. Of course, we also have volcanoes and tsunamis, though exceptionally rare. The Pacific Northwest is overdue for the Big One earthquake (last one was 1700), which may wipe out coastal towns, destroy critical infrastucture, etc. etc. Then we'll be the ones sobbing.

Fuchen ridiculous, the temperature increase until dinner time to 93.2°F (105.8°F with the Humidex).

The Farmer Almanac call for a cold winter in the like of -40°C (-40°F). Bring it on

Those of us that grew up here, we typically walk outside and open a beer when we hear the tornado sirens go off.
