Can anyone recommend a TV?

Um no. Not denying high end models can be complex and laden with useless features but if you shop for a good panel it'll be $$ and you WILL see the difference.

My LED was a top of the line Hisense, 65 inch, $1K CDN and my 10 yr old Panasonic plasma shits all over it. No contest.

Same reason it took me so long to upgrade from my 2 Pioneer plasmas…nothing came close until OLED sets became available.
