At 44 he's too old so you'll get one maybe two films out of him. Consequently the short tenure as Bond will make your decision to cast him only be about scoring SJW points and therefore have a negative impact on his career.
Go younger!!! BTW...Tom Hardy is too old as well.

What about Chris Hemsworth? Not too young (i.e. believable), and seems like he could pull it off. Don’t know if they could afford him, but they would save on paying the Bond giirls. Women would line up for free.

I thought Bond was always a mature gentleman. 44 sounds right, but I think he might be a little too muscular....just depends on how they reboot the series.

I think Tom Hardy is too bulky too.

But realistically, and contractually it may be difficult, Michael Fassbender might be the best option. And odds are he'd love to do it.

Could've been a modern Sean Connery. Rough around the edges.

If they wanted SJW points, they would’ve casted a transgender binary fluid non-fluid philipino lady’s man boy.
Idris Alba is a good actor, and I think he could portray the charismatic persona of Bond well. I think it’s a matter of spicing things up, and changing things for the sake of change, too. They want a new face, and want to take it a step further casting a black guy in a role traditionally played by a white guy. And it thought he dispelled those rumors about playing Bond? Michael Fassbender would’ve made a good Bond, but he’s not interested. If I were to pick the next Bond, I’d pick Henry Cavill. That guy makes straight guys want to be gay. |

I wasn’t speaking for myself. My reference is to all the comments on social media coming from straight men on social media commenting on his looks which is why I never said “Henry makes me gay.”
