I thought this was confirmed not to be true. Albon is a solid driver, and if you look broadly at the F1 grid, it is clear the RB driver program works since a good portion of the grid came from their program. I digress, but I am not sure I'd take Albon over Lawson, who proved to drive well in his small sample last year.
