FWIW, it is the lowest price insurance for my E90 though, and I've comparison-shopped 30 companies.

I have posted this numerous times in the past but anytime I see someone who is with GEICO I feel like I have to post again, if your with GEICO know that if you get a wreck they will NOT replace your parts with brand new OEM parts instead they will supply 3rd party refurbished parts (or give you a check for the value of those which is half of what a new OEM part would cost)which they will warranty however BMW does not recognize those parts which can lead to voiding of your warranty, so beware. Its cheap for a reason. I was a GEICO customer for 8 years and the one time I needed them to come through they screwed me, lucky for me we have the dealership so I was able to offset the prices of the parts. Im with Farmers now (Dealership has been with Farmers for 25+ years now) but there are other insurance companies as well that if you make note of wanting ONLY brand new OEM parts as an option if you need them you will be good to go.
any who they do have great commercials sorry to get off topic

GEICO is my 3rd insurance company since we moved here in 2002. In this bizarre state any claims result in a huge jump in premiums, but moving to another company negates all that. It's weird. Years ago my E39 got nailed by a flying retread and after they fixed the hood, windshield, and mirror they jacked up my rates (State Farm), so we moved to AAA. Then years later Wifey got into a fender bender in the school parking lot and her premium doubled, so we moved to GEICO. My AAA agent called me a few months ago to tell me that enough time had passed since Wifey's mishap that her rates were back down and I could switch back to AAA if I wanted. So even the reps play the game.
