The sound F1 should be

The right sound of F1 V8 before the snowflakes changed it.

For me the V10 was the pinnacle of F1 sound, when they stopped using the V10 I stopped watching.

The sound and the rumble is what hooked a lot of the drivers when they were young. It created a passion.

I'll always watch and enjoy F1, but I agree that absolutely NOTHING will compare to the V10 era.

I'm the same. I still watch it because I love racing, but nothing will ever come close the sound of the V10.

There's an interview with Hamilton from a couple years ago where Alonso's old Renault V10 is blasting around the track and he keeps getting distracted by it and says it's the best sound ever. I imagine pretty much all drivers feel the same as him

Edit: Found it

I'm also in the V10 boat. Those were the WILDEST sounding cars of all time.

The V8s were also really really really good but V10s revving to almost 20krpm was orgasmic.
