I trying to find out if i can fit an M sport steering wheel from the E90 to my E46 M3. I have heard that the this wheel is smaller in diameter than the E46 which appeals to me. Does anyone have any pics of the M sport steering wheel? I have found the part number from realoem.com but i wanted to see a photograph of it. Thanks for the help.

My guess is that it will fit, same hub, etc...

It is 365 vs 370mm. Just 5mm less than the E46 sport wheel. You can find it on Ebay for U$S 180.00 + shipping. This is just for the "naked" wheel. You´ll also need the E90 multifunction switches, lower front "M" trim and round airbag. Still, I doubt that the E90 multifunction switches and aribag connections can be compatible with the E46.

I might end up buying one and testing to see if it fits because i don't think anyone will know for sure until someone tries to fit it. I hope that the airbag will be able to work considering it is different from the E46's.

The wheel already seems like a vast improvement over my current sport steering wheel...

If you want to try something different, but being sure how it will work out in the end, then check this thread (http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...76943&page=174) at e46fanatics.com board. This member will install an E60 M5 wheel + SMG shifter knob on his M3 engined E46 323i. Might be interesting...
