I'm actually surprised that it looks very similar to the drop on my previous Cayman, a 2014 981 S with the X73 sport suspension which is 20mm lower than standard non PASM suspension

Yeah that is odd. I’m not sure why.

It looks lower at the wheels arches though, no idea why. I don't think we can make a conclusion until you get the spacers.

Normally rear wheels are a cat's paw larger than the front, so maybe they did it to level the car?

Both wheels are 20" and should be same overall diameter with tires. Maybe rear is just a cats clam too low.

Can't say I understand having such an expensive sports car and not doing a proper job lowering it with matching springs/dampers.

Agreed with others….rear is too low. Huge difference between looking dumped and properly lowered even when that difference might only be 3/4 inch. It's not a spacer issue, either….

umm, ok....many Porsche owners use H&R, TechArt and Eibach springs on their 911's, Cayman's, Macan's etc...This is nothing new

tons of threads here on Rennlist about them on much more expensive models than mine (992 Turbos, GT3's, etc)

https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1198...r-techart.html

https://rennlist.com/forums/search.p...rchid=43672590

Many BMW, Audi, Mercedes etc owners do as well...also ran them on my NSX's in the past with zero issues....these spring companies wouldn't be in business for decades if these weren't "proper"

I've had them on my F32 for over 30K miles now with zero issues

some people are just pedantic. ideally you'd want to change out the shocks anytime you alter the spring rate (basically do a full coilover system and corner balance). spacers are another can of worms since you are altering suspension geometry. i agree though for the street this is a moot point.

yeah, if I was lucky enough to have the time to track the car I'd be looking to do a set of coilover$

Heck it would be nice if there was even a track within 100 miles from me though.
