It's very simple. The law says you must have a front plate. Driving without it is giving the cops an excuse to pull you over. Unless you like that, put the plate on, have an up to date tab, pay your insurance etc. Don't give them stupid excuses to pester your life. As me I guess you have better things to do.

Yeah but from what I gather you live your life being bored most of the time. Some of us are too busy enjoying life for sh*t like this to be regarded exciting or fun

(if you don't tell anyone, and please don't, sure, I'm not handling three jobs at once here (full time) and sure only stress I get is when my cases fuck up majorly, but I kinda love my life. I just get my kicks some times from being the bad guy after doing some crazy good guy shit).

Dude your wife handles a life like mine and probably better than I. I'm like you, euro. Our plates are better and I'd never try to drive there without one but here all bets are off.

You're in the same area as me. I haven't had a front plate for over 10 years but I don't drive or park downtown PDX where all my friends will get tickets.

We need to sneak gps locaters on their cars so Waze will pick them up 100% of the time.

Looks like most of you don't have front plates. I work in Redmond and they are always harassing people on Willows RD. Might just order U.S. Mill works or Skene Designs to save the headache

I installed the pedal haus kit that IND sells just to make sure I'm not hassled in Redmond. It required me to buy a couple 17mm wrenches to adjust the length of the post because it was too short and the plate would have scraped the bumper after tightening otherwise. I also had to mount it upside down at the highest point possible to avoid interfering with the parking sensors. It's just barely low enough to not block the headlight.
To me the looks are analogous to a teenager wearing their hat sideways, and I hate it. I feel like it brings negative attention to have your plate mounted that way, like people assume you're going to drive like that teenager. |
