As long as they get it right, I don't mind waiting. Better wait and have an epic product than have it earlier but full of bad reviews because it was rushed out.

We may have waited a long time to get GT5 but if you look at the improvement it was over GT4, I don't complain. Sure, they could have... [insert critics here], but nothing is perfect anyways.


On a side note they may release it super delayed on purpose, perhaps even alongside a slim-equivalent PS4, as a "marketing strategy".

I love the nurburgring in GT5 but I really hope they fix the car sounds and the tuned e60 m5 handling. good god that thing sucks in GT5. It flips over in every corner

I hope they improve the handling of the cars. GT5 was good at being somewhat realistic, but not great... I also hope they improve their online racing "shuffle mode". That's all I play when I'm on GT5

From what I've read online GT6 will be a PS3 game, with a potential PS4 version released at a latter date.

I was a fan of Gran Turismo for years and owned and tweaked on them with 1800 hp Honda Del Sols, you name it. Since switching consoles (due to other Xbox only titles) I have to say that any of the Gran Turismo games do not compare or match up to Forza 4 or Forza 5 Limited Edition. Sad but true. Graphics look mediocre at best and play is unrealistic. Some folks will stay true and buy the game but the challenge and level of play is boring on the PS3/PS4 platforms.

This is not a bash its my opinion having owned both systems since 2005/6.

But they have to have a racing game for Sony folks and here it is.

Interesting review, I've only played the GT series, no Forza, so I'll definitely have to pick up a copy if its as realistic as you're saying. Right now I'm All-PS3, I've got GT6 on order from Amazon already, Dec 6th can't come soon enough!

I hear you. I still love some of the games the PS3 has like the Uncharted series and a few others that the Xbox 360 does not have. But then I liked some of the games Xbox had exclusive.

I am selling both systems and all my games this weekend.

I really am only upgrading for Forza 5 and Madden series. I am more of a Netflix person myself.

I am upset that they didn't include the new M5 or the M6 in the game like Forza did .... Really ashamed. Really was looking forward to those two cars.

M6 is downloadable content while the M5 is not.

The game is completely different from Forza 4. More realistic driving than Forza 4.

So IMO GT5 is like a need for speed type of game. GT6 I think will be at least a year behind Forza 5. I am still shocked about the actual tracks and driving of Forza 5. I like Forza 4 auction house and navigating better but Forza 5 is a new experience.

Which game? GT5? Yeah those graphics were blah. Forza 4 were ok. Forza 5 is better than both. However GT6 may surprise us. I have seen youtube videos of it already and it looks good. So who knows.

This is really odd. I'm sure we all know GT6 releases this Friday but I spotted this at a Target on Long Island just a few hours ago, they only had one copy left behind the display. I was tempted to purchase it then and there but I had already pre ordered my copy a few months ago on Amazon.

That happened to me at target a few years ago, they accidently put the game out before its release. With me it was killzone3 for ps3 and I went to buy it (maybe able to alip by) so the guy took it out and went to ring it up and and he goes..HMMM let me try again, scans it again and nothing so I knew it was coming up in the system that they cant sell it yet, so I tell him here is $65 I dont need a receipt lol. So he called manager over and they went and took the rest of them off the shelves for 2 more days. They are morons though because all the boxes are labled "time sensitive" not to open and sell till such and such date.

But I been using this old mom and pop video/music/game store that sells all the mew games when he receives his delivery. He dont put them in his showcase, you just have to ask to speak with the boss then just say what you want and he goes in the back and gets it and charges $55 no tax and you are getting them up to a week before release. Gota love shady mom and pop stores, struggling to make business and compete with big name stores.
