And what kind of math are you doing?

The LS7 is 1.75 times as big as the M3's V8 and 1.4 times as big as the M5.
My math actually applied to the "SMALLER" rather than "larger" comparison.
If you wish, 75% larger volume that produces 22% more power...

Of course it is not linear relationship, but...

In any case...my opinion on this definitely differs from some other opinions, so...

Seriously, the HP/Liter argument is wack. I don't even know how this whole argument got started. Fact is the LS7 is one of the best engines out there for producing great hp, torque and gas mileage. Really, what is there to argue? And please don't give me the HP/Liter argument its played out, unless you are prepared to bow down to Honda.

What I dont get is how some of you are so damn defensive. Proclaiming that the Z06 is an awesome car doesn't diminish your purchase. Enjoy your M3. It is a great car, but so is the Z06. But also realize that each has its compromises. The Z06 has no backseat, and the M3 is not even in the same league performance wise to the Z06.

You just owned yourself, just like dr325i did when he said the Z06 had "horrible mpg".

You ignored all of his negative opinions on the Corvette except for the gas mileage.

Yeah but my "boyfriend" dr325 WOULD allow me buy what ever car I wanted. Your wifey will NEVER allow you to buy a Corvette. Now off you go to the minivan dealer.

I can also say the same for you claiming 26 MPG HWY out of 7.0L engine when most of 4-cyl engines barely achieve that...

One thing is reality, other thing are the spec numbers...

But, AGAIN, and AGAIN, as Lyndon_h pointed out -- Corvette is a great American car, the end...

You do know that MPG ratings are independently reviewed by the EPA right? That means the numbers weren't pulled out of thin air. Considering that a Z06 was able to achieve close to 31+MPG in the U.K during a test, I'd say 24MPG highway isn't out of the ordinary.

Again you use speculation and accusation when confronted with facts.

We haven't had that conversation yet. My wife is a very loving woman. I don't think it'll be too much trouble to try and convince her that a Corvette would be a useful addition to the household. I've got charm on my side.

The mileage is true. If normal Vette's are getting 27-30mpg on the highway, the Z06 can easily get 24-26mpg.

I still cannot believe it, but I accept it as true...
Another reason to stay away from Chevy since their 4-cyl Malibu does not get 26 mpg hwy...

Could you video tape and post that conversation. I like to see how a married man goes about something like this. charm, plead , beg, cry

If you buy it, don't forget to post pics. Good luck with the charming part.

Navi suck balls. If you used a Lexus or Infiniti one you will know what type of bull shit BMW i drive is.

The fact about the run flat is its unrepairable. What kind of idiots would make such invention. And make it mandatory to purchase runflats in the future due to no spare tire in the trunk..

Problems is pretty bad maybe because I came from a Japanese car. It's pretty annoying bring car to dealership for repairs when your car has only 5k miles.

GF had a Lexus RX. The Navi was better but My idrive navi gets me where I'm going. Swap out your wheels and tires. I'm sure the car will look better then original wheels.
