I agree to an extent... It is like a gaming company announcing DLC before the game is even released but unfortunately that is the world we live in. Us, the consumers are the one's who ultimately brought this upon ourselves by condoning these business practices and buying into the hype. Economics will always prevail and if BMW economists say people will buy this car + shell out extra money for "M- performance" parts, then they are probably right and from their perspective they would be idiots not to do it.

Looks great! This white one seems a bit lower than the LBB we saw the other day. Especially in the rear. Or am I just seeing things?

Hey, but they throw in the black 437 M 19" wheels for free:
  • M2: stock
  • M3/M3: EUR2,050 option (Germany)

This is why I'm no longer active as I used to be here. Too many trolls and so called info that sometimes makes no sense.

I'll wait until the unveil

With this supposed reveal next week, would that also be when dealerships can begin taking orders?

Haha...I still obsess over the E92 M3 and saw a super polished black one on the way home this afternoon. It rolled slowly across the street as if to torture me, with the hood bump protruding in the sunset to remind me that this will always be "the one that got away!"
Let's see this M2 biz and still eyeing the F80, too.

Hang in there, we'll both be in debt before you know it.

I am glad I am not the only one who's fed up with these speculations and "guaranteed" "insider" info.

It all depends on regional pricing strategies. With M2 competitors or close competitors already well packaged and competitively priced here in Australia, we may find these M2 'options' packaged into Oz 'base' price plus very limited options .... as per 1M. Gotta wait and see.

I'm already in the party waiting for you to join
If you want me to be the one that discourages you from getting an E9x M3, then I'm definitely the wrong guy haha.

I've really fallen for my E36 lately and wondering if there's too much overlap with the M2. At least with the F80, it has 4 doors that could come in handy as a daily. I guess we'll see how they price the M2.

Looks like it won't be at the Tokyo Autoshow, so we could certainly expect the M2 to make an appearance at the LA Autoshow, with the online reveal imminent.

Hmmm... Anyone else think the M235i bumper actually looks better? This M2 front bumper is starting to look like a Wings West Shinobi Super Sport Ninja body kit.

Most of the design us still under wraps, I guarantee it will all come together once the camo comes off.

The front of the M235i is bland as hell in my opinion.

Yep count me in on this. The f80 has been reallllly tempting as of lately. Just need to fight the temptations

So you're saying that the M235i's bumper is too bland and the M3's is too busy? You're funny
