My stolen M6 comp, would love your help immensely

Please help me find my only joy in this cold world

(Click on photo for more information)

Vehicle could be anywhere so just keep an eye out in ur local areas and on the web for the car trying to be resold or specific parts trying to be parted and sold individually it had EVERY single option available sakhir orange interior, carbon fiber, extended leather, B&O EVERYTHING!
(with the exception of CCB’s and night vision)

Agreed, some details at least of where it was taken and when.

If you can BMW F/S they can ping your GPS unit as long as the thieves havent disconnected it. They tracked an E39 M5 going into the Holland Tunnel for my bodyshop years and years ago.

The vehicle was stolen in New York. However, as we all know a lot of stolen vehicles are either stripped for parts or shipped overseas, and Newark, NewJersey (where the shipping ports are) is quite close to New York and is a prominent location for stolen vehicles. Furthermore, these thieves could’ve moved quick and the vehicle could be in any one of your backyards. (or each individual part being sold on version’s online platforms)

I contacted BMW and provided all the necessary information and documentation and they sadly stated that if this had happened 1 year ago, they could’ve helped find it

BUT

Since we are currently in 2023, bmw no longer supports vehicles with 3g

BMW supported tracking of vehicles with the factory manufacturer 3g tracker up until February of 2022

And since then they have updated they’re systems and no longer support or can track any vehicle with 3g

It's not BMW wanting to stop support, its the cell carriers decommissioning the 3G towers. 4G is up next in a few years.

So sorry that your car was stolen. 3G has been discontinued by carriers so BMW had no options other than discontinue telematic services - unless the ATM module could be upgraded.

This is a reminder that keeping Apple AirTag in the vehicle is not bad idea.

Guys I understand 3G was 86’ed, I was not blaming BMW. Just saying it sucks that tech moves forward but backwards in this case for titanicM6

Family had a tour bus company in Italy.
Motor Coach bus was stolen.
Months later family on vacation in Egypt and they come across the bus.

Have you filed a theft claim with your insurance yet?

Ever if you are able to recover it, it's debatable if you would even want it back, especially with it being in the criminals hands.

Might be good to use insurance, and start fresh.

Either way, best of luck!!
