I disagree. I think the lions would have won one of the last 3 with a healthy Stafford........And you are really rolling the dice when hiring someone else.

Lions were the best possible match up for Seattle of the teams alive.

They probably had a chance against the Giants, but the defense got shredded vs. Dallas and GB. 42 and 31 pts given up respectively. His injury definitely played a role, as did Theo Riddick being placed on the IR.

Detroit is almost always competitive in the 1st half of games but falters regularly in the 2nd half. That's on coaching, which is why so many fans didn't want Caldwell back. But I agree, why get rid of him if you won't have a proper replacement.

I'd have a tough time rooting for anybody over Brady in the SB, including the Boys. I dislike Boston sports teams, but I make an exception for the Pats cause of Brady. How sweet would it be to see him silence all the haters and win a 5th ring? Aside from some questionable professional ethics, the man has been an inspiration to me. He's a winner in every facet of life.
