I actually drove over the damn and that thing is massive (that's what she said. lol). I wanted to get on it to take pics but I got lazy and we needed to get to Vegas.

it was pretty cool to take pictures off of, you're definitely in the middle of a wind tunnel when you stand there, I wouldn't be surprised if someone lost a hat at least daily there.

I also don't think you fully appreciate the scale of it until you stick your head over the edge and look down to see how small the stair cases at the bottom are....

It's pretty phenomenal.

I'll go look at my pics and see if there are any worth posting.

I like how you can look almost straight down into the overflow tunnel. Looks big enough to parachute into.

lol yeah.... I had a million curiosities about that tunnel.... like where it empties, how many bodies old Las Vegas hit men had thrown down there in the good ol days....

Here's the bridge on april 11th 2010

and the downward view of the dam. I have a couple better pictures, but this one shows scale best.

they throw some nice light, and you're smart to pack one in the cars.

instead of buying "those toys", i could have had the 14-24, the 105MM Macro and a new set of staggered 19" forged rims.

BUT, these toys are real fun.....

^^^ was gonna ask but being polite...pretty sure you get more use out of those "toys" than a macro
