Wikipedia says they visited Germany during the process of designing the car, so yeah, I think there's a lot of VW in there.

Having said that, the Jaguar E type also catches my eye every time, although seeing one on the road where I live is exceptionally rare. Based solely on word of mouth, I don't think I would dare own one, being fearful of repair and maintenance costs. Speaking of Jaguar, I also greatly admire the XK sportscars. The late-production XK-150, if I'm not mistaken, had the same power as the E type. Classic beauty!

Beautiful but my choice would be a V12 Coupe with matching colour Webasto sun roof in Carmen Red
