Trade through InteractiveBrokers. They are, IMO, the best platform (and the cheapest). As for research....

The Economist
FT
Barrons
Reuters
Industry white papers... the list goes on

whether you trade or invest, you need to know about the company/commodity, how it interfaces with the rest of the economy, the condition of the macro economy, and the direction of the macro economy (all in terms of probability of course).

So I hAd the opportunity today of investing 4k on stoCks thAt are quite low and iS possible that no much people knows of the coming events for that company as I know now. so I would like to know (Please only from people that think stocks are retirement plans and counts more then the present day) would you risk 4K to make 100K+??

It's far more likely to turn 100k into 4k than 4k into 100k, especially if you're asking for advice in OT.

I have to risk to get the biscuit!! and was in only one type stock.
