If you are under $173/month, you are a "suppressive" person.

It's curious that, in an age of censorship and everyone getting their feelings hurt, a big conglomerate would be OK putting this channel on their network and advertising it.

Telling indeed.

Then you probably know more truth than most. I find it sad/hilarious that a person can read and research all they want but a 30 minute episode of South Park puts everything into persepective.

Its a cult which robs people of their money and their family. They intimidate, threaten, and smear anyone who stands in their way.

Meh, as an atheist myself, I'd disagree with you here.

Are the things in Scientology any more fantastical than the things in the Bible? More current (space aliens, UFOs, etc), certainly, but more incredible than the resurrection, walking on water, water into wine, healing the sick, parting the sea, global flood and all the animals on the Ark, etc?

Not really.

More unlikely than the stories of Muhammad or Joseph Smith? Probably not.

It's no different that all the nonsense that is in the bible, koran, or any other religious book.

Watch some of Richard Dawkins videos on youtube. My favorite when he speaks to a muslim reporter about the flying horse.

Richard: Do you actually believe that mohammed split the moon in two and flew to heaven on a winged horse....

Reporter: I do, i believe in god and miracles

Richard: You believe that, you believe that mohammed went to heaven on a winged horse...

You really gotta sit and ponder how people can believe in some of this. However religion does prove one thing, brainwashing from adolescence 100% works.

Suffice to say, you don't have faith. Fine. I do.

My question has been and remains which one to have faith in then? To me all it is, is a tribal/regional thing for the majority of worshippers. If you grew up in the US you tend to be some form of a Christian. If you grew up in Saudi Arabia you are obviously going to most likely be a Muslim. Etc etc of course with the numerous other ones.

For me this isn't faith, but just a tradition (possible indoctrination) passed on based on how, where and who you grew up with.

Correct, I do not. I'm happy for you that you do, however. That's great. Most of my family are practicing Christians (Methodist), as well.

That doesn't address my point, however. The things claimed in Scientology like thetans in volcanoes and whatever are not necessarily more fantastical than a speaking bush, transmutation, or a man parting a sea, and the like.

I'm sure there are people that just as devoutly believe in Scientology and its stories, as well.

SciTi's are fascinating to me. Very transparent to those outside of it what is going on but a complete mind melt and control of those in it. Probably won't find any active on here as they are instructed to stay away from things that could lift the veil of ignorance.

I am proudly suppressive and love my body thetans. Hail Xeb.

Meh, can't be any worse than believing in socialism, liberalism, or that Trump colluded with the Russians. All have about an equal basis in reality.
