This 2000 BMW M5 is equipped with a 4.9-liter S62 V8 featuring a RK Autowerks stage 1 supercharger paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This E39 M5 is finished in Carbon black over black leather. Now showing 225k miles, the car is equipped with xenon headlights, a sunroof, 18″ Style 65 wheels, quad exhaust outlets, heated seats, carbon wrapped interior trim, automatic climate control, and a navigation system. The E39 M5 was purchased by the seller in 2004 from a lease return for use as a daily driver and has since further modified it with the supercharger kit and an Aquamist Methanol kit. Approximately 150k of its 225k indicated miles have been added under current ownership. This supercharged E39 M5 is now offered by the seller with service records from 2004 on, spare and removed stock parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is finished in Carbon Black and features Xeon headlights, fog lights, a decklid spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. The windows are tinted but the seller states that the driver rear window tint is scratched. The seller notes that the driver side doors and roof rails have been repaired and repainted in 2017 to repair roof dents that occurred during form falling over bike from bike rack. New bumper installed in 2017 but the seller states that the front bumper has a small crack near the passenger fog light. There is a small dent in passenger side front quarter panel. Rear bumper has been replaced in 2016 after a truck reportedly hit the bumper while parked causing a large crack in the bumper. Front hood has been repainted in 2016 to remove paint chips. Front bumper bottom covers cracked from parking and have been replaced in 2019. Windshield has been replaced in 2006 from large crack and currently has 2 small cracks. Front and rear window seals have been replaced in 2016. Remaining blemishes can be seen in the picture gallery.
Factory 18″ Style 65 wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Rear wheels have been refinished in 2016, and the front right rim shows some curb rash and peeling. Wheels are mounted with 18″ Michelin PS4S tires 235/40 up front have 10/32” tread depth and 285/35 rears have 8/32” tread depth. Braking is from Centric Premium rotors and Stoptech Street performance pads currently at 8mm pad thickness rear and 4mm front. Includes Stoptech braided brake hoses in the front. Suspension modifications include Koni yellow shocks front and rear. BeastPower sway bar brackets and Power flex thrust arm bushings. Installed front brake ducts and created openings into fender wells. Rear lower ball joints were replaced. California car it’s whole life the body and undercarriage are spotless with no signs of rust.
Factory equipment includes a power sunroof, navigation, and heated and powered front seats with memory settings for the driver. The interior features an alcantara headliner, carbon fiber-wrapped trim, and a factory sound system with a MediaBridge Bluetooth module and a disconnected CD changer. The original interior is in great shape with no rips in the leather, stains in the carpet or wear areas. Instrumentation is shown in operation in the video above. Center arm rest has a Redline M-stitched leather wrapped cover, and steering wheel, ZHP shift knob, shift boot and handbrake boot Redline M-stitched leather has been recently ordered. A Rogue short-throw shifter has been fitted. A laser jammer and a front dash cam has been fitted. The digital odometer shows approximately 225k miles. Seller notes that the left OBC section of instrument cluster is dimmed but no missing pixels. The sunroof slides open slightly under hard acceleration. Floor mats have been replaced. All four window regulators have been replaced.
The 4.9-liter S62 V8 has been modified with an RK Autowerks Stage 1 supercharger kit installed in 2013. Car still has stock exhaust and headers. Recent modifications and service include:
• Vortech V3Si -rebuilt with new bearing and seals
• Aeromotive 340 fuel pump
• Larger 330l/min green fuel injectors
• Smaller 8-rib supercharger pulley - 3.7” instead of 3.8” (stage 1)
• TiAL blow-off valve (with exhaust routed to front bumper)
• Air/oil separator
• Power steering pump relocation
• RK plenum plates
• Aquamist HFS-3 Methanol kit with 0.3mm pre-SC nozzle and 2x 0.7mm post-SC nozzles and tank in the trunk
• Custom Tune by Evolve Engineering includes an ECU remap, along with Evolve-R and Alpha-N MAF removal software.
o Dynojet chart from 2014 shows 494 RWHP (~580 HP at the crank) and 410 lb-ft of torque (~480 lb-ft at the crank)
o Idle raised to 800rpm, and redline unchanged at 7000rpm
• SC Belt tensioner and SC belt replaced

• Replaced engine oil (LiquiMoly 10W60) in 2019 (every 7.5k)
• Replaced Supercharger oil (Vortech) in 2019 (every 7.5k)
• Replaced Differential oil (Royal Purple Max Gear 75W140) in 2019 (every 30k)
• Replaced Brake fluid oil (ATE type 2000) in 2019 (every 2yr)
• Replaced Powersteering oil (ATF) in 2017 (every 30k)
• Replaced Coolant fluid (OEM) in 2017 (every 3yr)
• Replaced Transmission oil (Royal Purple Synchromax) in 2016 (every 30k)

• Replaced pre-O2 sensors in 2019
• Replaced Fuel filter in 2019
• Replaced Fuel pump (Aeromotive 11540) in 2019
• Replaced Evap purge valve in 2019
• Replaced Rear main seal in 2018

• Installed UUC V12 clutch, lightweight flywheel and V12 slave cylinder in 2016
• Reinforced welding of subframe mount for differential in 2016

• Replaced all power steering hoses in 2016
• Vanos rebuild (orings, vanos solenoids) in 2015
• Replaced post-O2 sensors in 2015
• Replaced water pump in 2014
• Replaced battery in 2014
• Replaced 4x CPS sensors in 2014
• Replaced guibo flex disk in 2013
• Replaced Powersteering belt and AC belt in 2011
• Replaced 3x belt pulleys in 2012
• Replaced radiator and expansion tank in 2008
• Installed Rogue Engineering transmission mounts in 2008
Car had 3 California owners and no accidents. Recently CA smogged in 2019 without issues.
The car comes with 2 keys (1 remote key doesn’t work) and valet key. A full-sized front spare (with curb rash) is included. The seller notes that the stock airboxes and MAF sensors are included in the sale. Service history dating back to 2004 are available. More picture are available upon request.

Just saw your message. I wouldn’t hestitate to drive to Portland.
Did San Fran to San Diego a few times without issues.
