N20 equipped vehicles recalled for water pump fires

N20 engine has excessive blowby (that's why I have an oil catch can installed) which can leak out onto the electrical connector for the pump, causing short circuit and possibly resulting in a fire. I read that up to 2016 328i and drives are affected, but my 2016 has the updated (remember the timing chain guide defect?) N26, so is it a recall or is it not?

It's likely, both the n20 and n26 had the recall. If you go to a BMW dealer you could likely get it done, or call your local dealer with your vin and you should get an answer.

It's possible that the recall was issued for both the N20 and the N26. You might be able to get it done if you travel to a BMW dealer, or you could call your local dealer with your vehicle identification number and you should get an answer out of them.
