1080 SLI FTW!
Heh. Only because my monitor is 3440x1440 do I even come close to needing anything like that.

For what insane rate did you buy? Is W10 required to run or also W7?

Where did you get it?
I'm thinking either 1060 or R9 480. |

There's already reviews on YT that are far better than anything i could provide lol.
Basic (very basic) details are: 1070 > 1060 > 980 > 960 Specs between 10 series cards here: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/10series/compare 1060 beats out the R9 480 in some ways, loses in others, they are close in performance overall. 1060 starts at $250 for secondary/custom brands 1060 Founders Edition is $299 (the one i got since it was the only one in stock...) Power draw kept at 120W

Looking at the 1060 (debating that or a SSC 960 I think), but I'll wait until I start my build closer to the end of the year to see if there's any good deals.

I'm sure you'll be better off expense-wise at that point. Plus there will definitely be more stock by then.

1200 bucks? If I add 50,- more I would get a complete performance brake set for my F32. Hard decision, huh?

If I have a Dell XPS 8900, would the 1060 work? I see that it only uses 120W which is the same power that a 960 took.
Does anyone foresee any issues? |

Should be fine as long as you have the 4-pin power connector to spare.

I'm happy so far. Also zero cooling issues even with the single fan FE
