A BMW I would love to own but too expensive for me. I hope some museum buys it.

EAG sold a low mileage one similar to this for $199k. I remember when these could be had for $7k back in 2004!

I hear ya, I payed 13k CAD for mine in 2005. Sold for almost 4x that a couple years back. MUCH higher mileage.

I would honestly be afraid to drive this, and insuring it would be pricey with a declared value policy up here.

I love how simple these cars were back in the day. Just look at the undercarriage. Simple diff, a control arm here and there, small exhaust, etc. Wonderful. Less is always more.

I will not forget that time in 2012, when there was a local E30 M3 that was not selling for $20k for the longest time. Then I met the owner at the local car show and he was begging me to take it for $17k and I passed it on.... next year the values exploded.

I regret not buying that car

I actually didn't get into Mercedes until my CLS, so only close to two years. Before that I always liked AMG, but BMW will always be my first love, just right now we're in a bit of a separation phase i'm actually trying to find an older Z4 M at the moment to bring back the love.

Plenty of love just not plenty of cash Those things are going for insane amounts of money! Also I miss my convertibles. With the Z4 I still get a lighter curb weight with a high revving engine and hydraulic steering but not as expensive as a clownshoe or E46. Gotta have cash left on the side for repairs after all

Oh my lord, they have been increasing in price!

There's only 3 for sale in AU and they are priced from 80,000 to 100,000 atm here.
