Drove an M6 Today.
Well alot of anticipation ,and blood was rushing through my body today when i stepped in the vehicle . I was so excited that it would be my first drive in an M6 and watching countless videos on you tube, street fire , etc. I was sure the car was going to make me all giddy ,and feel like i was 7 years old again. However, when i put the pedal to the metal , the car just didn't deliver . Now i guess the reason i am making this post is to see if anyone agrees with me , and please tell me a 335i with jb3 feels alot meaner because if it doesn't have that Savage acceleration feel ,i think i may change my mind on this car .

i sat in an m6 with the driver flooring it and it didnt really blow me away either. The extremely hard smg shifts gave the "thrown into the seat" feeling.
dont get me wrong, its a fast car. |

youre comparing an aftermarket tuned vehicle a factory tuned vehicle. give the M6 an additional 80 hp/tq and your 335i will feel really slow.

Actually the first thing i did when i got in the car was put the 500 sport on. To be honest though i just really need to hear that a jb3 335i blows away an m6 . I think that alot of people respect that car more then they should , just as i did.

And a JB3 335i is not faster than an M6, however you want to word it. |

I'm not an idiot it was on the right setting its just NOT as fast as every 1 thinks . Just like the m3 isn't as fast as everyone thinks , there are numerous videos everywhere already of 335i's with software beating m3s. NOT to say id rather have a 335i then an m3 because i wouldn't . I hope no one is taking anything im saying offensively because that is not how im trying to come off . I am a fellow BMW lover and i just was a tad bit disappointed today.

get of the m6's dick..... its not that fast, i kept up with an m6 (my friend driving it and yes he had the m button on) up to 120mph with my jb2 335. then i got the jb2hr and raped him so stfu whoever says the 335 is slower up to 120... annd the feeling of acceleration you get in the 335 is much more pronounced even though it may not be that much faster.

Its funny because nobody even mentioned anything about "up to 120 mph." its better to read posts in a forum before replying.

TIAG 335I i hear what your saying . However i don't know if you PERSONALLY have drove an m6 but i am telling not only did it not feel fast, IT WASN'T GOING FAST EITHER. i believe it did a 4.8 4.9 0-60 time it was quick ,but it just wasn't AMAZING ,and over the edge like you would expect it to be . And its about 100k and for that price it just ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH. Don't get me wrong it handled nicely was comfortable etc. And im sure it would do great around a track. But if i pulled up next to a v8 vantage, zo6 , sl63. I wouldn't run any of them. Or a 335i jb3

BMW usually hasn't been the fastest straight-line car in any of the car categories it competes in--ever. That's not what BMW is about.
The 335 is a bit of an anomaly in that they ended up with a very competitive straight-line car on top of what they're normally known for.
