Photos of my Lexus IS-F and other photos I've taken
Here are a few pictures I took after work today. I took these with a Nikon D300 using a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens and 10-20 mm for the last shot. I took these photos using a remote trigger and the camera was on a Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod with ball mount with a quick release lever. They were post processed in Aperture on my Macbook Pro.

OMG I love the last shot!
Is it really that wide? I'm thinking about investing in full-frame lenses right now, but the Nikon name-brand is just too much for me. How satisfied are you with the Sigma 24-70mm? |

YES... you know that was the last picture and forgot that particular one was taken with the Sigma 10-20 mm lens. I'd love to get the Nikon glass but you're right, it's pretty costly. I'm happy with my Sigma lenses so far. Yes I'm pretty happy with my 24-70. I'd buy it again! I think sigma actually has a smaller profile 24-70 f/2.8 out now. The one I have is longer.

Good question. My D300 has an AF motor to drive the lens if the lens doesn't actually have one. I'll have to research that. But yes the HSM will have the AF motor.

I have the D300, too. I'm just worried about focusing speeds on built-in motors. I had a bad experience with Tamron's motors.

Awesome pics of the IS-F. The paint looks like it was just sprayed and still wet! I love black cars when they are in that kind of condition. The problem is keeping them clean and swirl free. After one experience owning a black vehicle, I'm not sure I'm going to do another one. Although a 911 in flat black would kick ass.....
