You sure? I tried looking for it on the Website both U.K. And US and couldn't find it. I know BMW recently rebranded "sports package" to "M Performance" so thought this X5 is was an M performance edition and the owner added the extra badges including 50D

Not the same thing imho. My 340i M Sport, for example, had a lit up M Performance stamped on the doorsill. You won't see just a solitary "M" on a M Sport or a M Performance part. However, you will see them on the M235/240 and the upoming M340i and M550i cars, which is okay since I don't believe in debadging. Whether or not people agree that BMW should be M badging these car is another debate.

I agree with you since BMW rebranded "sports package" to M Performance, and even Mercedes is renaming their sports package to AMG something. Kind of like the M 235 before the launch of the M2.

Found this new color - Frozen Strawberry Red -

on the road the other day. Exhausts looked like M5, License registration says it's only a 525 Diesel - Nice try, didn't fool me....

If you don't have driver assist, you won't have speed limit info.
