Aftermarket springs with OEM shocks?
Looking to lower my ride height. my question is does changing of aftermarket springs (Eibach Pro-Kit) affect/shorten the lifespan of our OEM BMW shocks?
thanks

Yes, it does in most every other car I know, so unless they use some special shock then it will shorten it's life. I'd like to confirm this as well.

I've been told that you can expect the shocks to last another year or so after the install. It also depends on hard it's driven after the springs are installed. If you end up tracking it everyday, don't expect them to last very long.
