Edit: Been using gas for years and with the new house and the storage space for both I want to get back cooking with charcoal. At some point will even try my hand at smoking!
Kinda my thought - would like to have both. Have the charcoal / smoker available but still have the gas available for quick and easy meals. I also used to have a Weber standalone smoker and liked it, but didn't use it all that much. Having something like this would provide that ability with more flexibility.

It looks great. Enjoy it!

Just looked up how much that bad boy cost and I think I could afford a wheel off of it lol. Very nice though, something to consider for sure. My new car has the massage seats so I'm getting spoiled.

The Kamado Joe is probably in the top five of all my favorite things I've ever bought. You'll love it and regret not getting one sooner. Congrats!

Pizza cooked in the Big Green Egg are excellent, I’m sure that you can do the same.

Yes, there is a pizza stone available but have not purchased yet. Figure I’ll start with basics…

Get one of these. It will take all the guesswork out of temperature control and turn you into a slow-cooking ace in no time flat.

BBQ Guru Temperature Control Kits for Kamado Joe Classic II

I have done many a brisket, boston butt, roast, etc., with these and you literally set-it and forget-it, at least until the alarm goes off. Currently have the UltraQ. Highly recommend.

Dryer vent bucket. Our current dryer vent is waaaay too long and keeps getting jammed with lint. It runs through the crawlspace which I'm getting too old to be climbing through. So I'm going to shorten the hose run and attach this so it's right there at the crawlspace door where I can check on it every so often.

I've had mine for a decade now and I love the hell out of it. Honestly the thing I cook on it most are pizzas, does amazingly well with high heat.

They're not really that bad but if you wanted something in the mid range Laura Davidson furniture has a premium line you can get a link to from there chat form. I think it's about $700 for an Italian leather eames replica

Just looked and even cheaper. https://www.lauradavidsondirect.com/...talian-leather

I've had this for years.

So it does not vent outside the house?
